This drawing was completed using a fast, cross hatching technique, converging important lines to create depth in the subject.  The young gorilla can be found in the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE, USA.

THE INFILL

2010

A local child takes the American Soldier's, leading him into the village.  This image was taken in 2010 following a two week mission to clear enemy insurgents from a heavily contested area.  The operation resulting in the removal of Improvised Explosive Devices and enemy strongholds in a rural area of Southern Afghanistan.

Partnering takes effort from both parties and respect to ensure success.  When people don't speak the same language and have very little in common, but share blood, sweat and tears together, they form a bond.

Quick trip to Colorado Springs and a friend reminds me of the beauty in life.  The mountains are beautiful as usual and I’m grateful to just see them.  Here is a quick sketch of one Rock formation.
